🚀 Mobile Platform for travelers and influencers

With the growing demand for personalized travel experiences, we aimed to create a digital platform that seamlessly connects travelers with influencers who provide tailored recommendations based on real experiences. Our goal was to design an intuitive, engaging, and trustworthy user experience that enhances travel planning through influencer insights.

The Problem

Travelers often struggle with generic travel recommendations that fail to align with their personal interests. Traditional travel guides lack personalization, and online reviews can be unreliable or overwhelming. There is a gap in the market for a platform that enables travelers to receive curated travel advice from influencers whose tastes align with their preferences.

The Objective

To design a user-friendly, intuitive, and immersive platform that enhances travel planning through influencer-guided experiences while ensuring ease of exploration and booking.

Travel platform idea to launch

A passionate travel enthusiast approached ADS with an idea for a mobile platform that connects travelers with influencers offering personalized recommendations based on real experiences. Excited by the concept, ADS saw the potential and decided to collaborate on the project. Our focus was to identify key differentiators that would strengthen the platform’s market positioning and attract early-stage funding.

Lean UX Approach

Research

We conducted in-depth interviews and  competitive analysis on existing travel platforms like TripAdvisor, Airbnb Experiences, and Instagram’s travel-related content.

Ideation

Exploring multiple solutions through sketching and mind mapping, open collaboration between designers, and stakeholders. Mapping out user flows to ensure a seamless experience.

Prototyping

Incorporate branding elements to align with the startup’s vision. End to end interaction flow for user and service provider flow using figma. Finalized features for the MVP.

Competitive Analysis

We analyzed existing travel platforms like TripAdvisor, Airbnb Experiences, and Instagram’s travel-related content. While these platforms offer recommendations, none provide a seamless way to connect travelers with influencers based on personalized preferences.

Based on our findings, we brainstormed solutions and validated ideas through wireframes and prototypes. Key features included:

Influencer Matching Algorithm – Matches travelers with influencers based on preferences, travel history, and budget.

Verified Reviews & Ratings – Builds credibility and trust.

Direct Chat & Booking System – Enables seamless interaction.

Interactive Itinerary Builder – Allows users to customize trips based on influencer recommendations.
